airports belonging to the PRO series.

This special version of EKCH Copenhagen is
released as a bonus for our customers that have purchased any of our scenery
before. The interest for this airport has been very big and we will extend the
free bonus offering also after 1st of May.
Even though this is not a Swedish airport, it is a strategic one for all users
of Scandinavian scenery, situated a very short 10 minutes hop from the ESMS
Malmoe-Sturup airport. The scenery is built with the same accuracy and details
which has made our regular scenery famous. Runways, taxiways, aprons, more than
400 signs, 86 wig-wags, stop bars, taxiway lights, and other essentials are all
placed with as high precision as possible. All buildings, hangars, terminals and
gates on Kastrup Area North, the main apron areas, are represented.
Many of our customers are professional pilots and our ambition has been to make
the runway, taxiway and apron systems as close to reality as possible. Also we
have been keeping a sharp eye at all final approach sectors in order to give
this very large scenery a truly flyable frame rate in these highly sensitive
areas. To achieve this we have as usual sacrificed dynamic “frame eaters” as
moving gates, buses, cars, and luggage vans. Even if they look nice the first
few flights they surely do bad things with the frame rate. (Read more about this

This EKCH Bonus Scenery is complete at the main
apron and hangar area Kastrup North with almost every building represented and
with high quality photo textures both in day and night versions

A 14 page comprehensive Airport Handbook in
PDF-format can be downloaded free in the Handbooks
section. In this you will
have a link to the official Danish CAA site where the latest airport charts as
well as approach charts are available. Plus a detailed summary of the long and
interesting history of this old airport - one of the oldest in the world.

FS2002 AI-traffic will be automatically updated
to reflect the new layout (AI traffic for FS2004 will not be available until
later when a new version of the AFCAD program is available)

The docking systems at the 42 gates are inactive
in this version but clear signs, lines and lights will make the docking easy
|
Like many of us a lot of you don't read manuals
:-) and therefore you may miss the Airport Handbook for EKCH where the important
link to the latest maps for Copenhagen Airport is and which you can download
from the Danish Civil Aviation Administration. In total you can get there 38 PDF
files with all maps needed, SID, STAR, parking maps and so on.
The big maps covering the ground layout are in the files ADC and APDC if you are

During the install a check will be
made that a previous SwedFlight Pro airport is installed from its original file.
If not found, the installer will abort.
This is a totally reoptimized version that gives you a significantly higher
frame rate both in FS2002 and FS2004. It is too big to publish as an update so a
new installation is needed. If you
have both FS2002 and FS2004 in your computer, please read the enclosed
PDF file in the package about where to install the new files - or you can
download that document separately here in advance.
The needed patch files for the AI traffic in FS2002 and FS2004 are
enclosed in the package. They can also be downloaded in our
ADD-ONs section.

The famous Oresund Bridge, made as a freeware scenery by Henrik Brovell, is a perfect companion to our Bonus
scenery above. It features in splendid detail the very long and very
beautiful bridge that connects Kastrup with Malmoe in Sweden . It will not
hurt the frame rate and we wholeheartedly recommend it
.
Note: To ensure compatibility with Swedflight Pro Bonus EKCH Copenhagen
airport you have to delete the file SALTHOLM.BGL residing in the Swedflight
Pro\EKCH\Scenery folder (in version 1 of EKCH). This to prevent dual instances of the Saltholm
isle.
In version 0401 it is now removed.
