Copenhagen/Kastrup EKCH/CPH

Pier B and A at the International Terminal - Terminal West and Domestic in the background

One of Europe’s largest airports

In this scenery every single building at the two main terminal areas at Kastrup North – International and Domestic -are reproduced in super sharp photo real detail. All buildings were meticulously photographed with the full cooperation of the airport authorities so all recent additions and features are present.

The gates have fully working, night lighted and correct APIS docking systems. All taxiways lines have so smoothly curved that you will be unable to notice any “jaggies” at all. Gates, stands and taxiway layout adheres to the latest official documentation.

When you combine Copenhagen with Pack #1 you can fly 7 minutes to 1 hour flights between selections of the largest Scandinavian airports with stunning scenery at both ends.

Even though this is not a Swedish airport, it is a strategic one for all users of Scandinavian scenery, situated a very short 7 minutes hop from the ESMS Malmoe-Sturup airport. The scenery is built with the same accuracy and details which has made our other sceneries famous. Runways, taxiways, aprons, more than 400 signs, 86 wig-wags, stop bars, taxiway lights, and other essentials are all placed with as high precision as possible. All buildings, hangars, terminals and gates on Kastrup Area North, the main apron areas, are represented.

Many of our customers are professional pilots and our ambition has been to make the runway, taxiway and apron systems as close to reality as possible. Also we have been keeping a sharp eye at all final approach sectors in order to give this very large scenery a truly flyable frame rate in these highly sensitive areas. To achieve this we have as usual sacrificed dynamic “frame eaters” as moving gates, buses, cars, and luggage vans. Even if they look nice the first few flights they surely do bad things with the frame rate.

If you already possess the discontinued “bonus” EKCH the difference with its latest version will be a full APIS docking guidance system at all gates, improved frame rate, 3D approach lights, smoother taxiway lines, reworked Domestic Apron and added Dash-8 apron.

The package is compatible with FS2004/FS2002.
