Växjö Kronoberg ESMX,  screen shots from package #4
(all pictures are from FS2004)

The landside entrance of Växjö/Kronoberg airport in evening light.
Most parts of all buildings have authentic night photo textures.

The airport at Växjö serves the central and southern part of Småland. It is not one of the bigger commercial airports but is important for this area with traffic to Stockholm and Copenhagen and also with charter flights abroad. The airport is owned by a local company and is rather new since the operations started here 1975.

It is a real pleasure for a scenery builder to reconstruct the nice and modern buildings here, also including a local flying club centrally placed inside the airport area. The photo material from this airport is of highest quality which will result in a very detailed end result where every small building is represented - with ultra sharp photo textures all over. Original schematic drawings from the building of the real airport have been available which ensures a very exact rendering of Kronoberg airport. The ground scenery is made with our usual technique - smooth taxi line curves with edge lines, apron details, 3D taxi lights, 3D CAT I approach lights exactly built to scale - etc.

The package where this airport is included is compatible with FS2004/FS2002.

The Airport Handbook for ESMX can be downloaded free here when it is available later on: HANDBOOKS

The maintenance facilities at the airport

Authentic night photo textures

This scenery like the other two in the packages is adapted to cooperate with the Road, Water and LandClass additions from Raimondo Taburet. As seen you get all roads and paths at the proper places.

Växjö/Kronoberg airport is situated close to the city and in an area with a lot of lakes.
The scenery contains a large part of the neighbourhood made with the LandClass technique.
